California Reflections HOA

Next.jsTypeScriptCMS IntegrationCommunity Service
California Reflections HOA Website

Project Overview

As a resident and board member of the California Reflections HOA, I built, maintain, and manage the community's website. This project combines my technical skills with community service, providing residents with an accessible platform for information and communication.

The HOA needed a modern, user-friendly website that would serve as a central hub for community information, document access, and announcements. The solution needed to be cost-effective, easy to maintain, and accessible to residents of varying technical abilities.

Technical Implementation

I developed a custom website using Next.js and TypeScript, providing a fast, responsive experience across all devices. The site integrates with OneSignal for content management and email communications, allowing board members to easily update content and send notifications to residents.

  • Responsive design ensuring accessibility on all devices
  • Document repository system for community materials storage and retrieval
  • Integrated email notification system for community announcements
  • User-friendly content management interface for board members
  • Community calendar and event management functionality

Project Management

As both the developer and a board member, I have a unique perspective on the community's needs. I designed and built the website from scratch, integrated the CMS and email functionality, and continue to maintain and update the site as needed. I also train other board members on content management and help ensure that the website remains a valuable resource for our community.

Community Feedback

"The new website has transformed how we communicate with our residents. Information is now easily accessible, and the email notification system ensures everyone stays informed about community matters."
